Three Haiku on visiting Boston Common's Frog Pond

Little sparkles dance
Across the water’s surface;
Never reach the deep


Toddlers in the pool
Dragging parents on leashes
So pleased with water


Mounted police horse
Parked at the horsey bike stand
Dozes, nose on rail.
